Friendly and Certified Firearms Training for Women Since 2011

November 2020 Recap

November was a month for advocacy, training, and welcoming more gun owners! It was also a month for Thanksgiving and gratitude for our times — virtual and in person — that we were able to gather at the range. Here are our highlights for November:

2 Nov Virtual GNOs = 1,600 Views!

In November, we hosted two virtual events: Heather Reeves led a discussion on the importance of training and how to seek opportunities and make the most of them. Tatiana Whitlock presented on holster draw from both a strong-side OWB holster and an AIWB holster. Each presentation was visible for about 2 weeks and had more than 800 views by AG & AG members.

Source for Election Discussions

With November came a lot of discussions about the 2020 election, and AG & AG was a resource on 2A advocacy. AG & AG’s Robyn Sandoval spoke with NPR’s Morning Edition about the importance of standing up for gun rights, as well as several other media outlets, including NBC, 19thNews, and firearms industry podcasts.

Pandemic Growth Continues

Throughout November, AG & AG received thousands of emails from new gun owners who were seeking information about where/how to purchase a new gun and how to get training. Our membership numbers increased steadily, but our contact lists continue to expand month over month!
