About GLOCK Getaways

Join your AG & AG sisters in this exclusive Girls Getaway! In the 8-hour Armorers course, students will learn the mechanics and maintenance of GLOCK firearms, including system designs, function of safeties, detail stripping and reassembly, fire control component configurations, upgrades and alternate parts, sights, tools, and diagnostics. In the 16-hour Operators course, students will train on ballistics, presentation of the pistol, fundamentals of marksmanship, pistol manipulation, ready positions, malfunction clearing, target engagement, and shooting on the move, including moving into and recovering quickly from kneeling positions.

No, you must already know gun safety and how to operate your pistol and present from the holster. Therefore, participation is reserved for ladies in the Green and Orange Color Tracks. (See the AG & AG Shooting Journal to determine your track.) Although the basics of marksmanship will be addressed, this course is not for brand new shooters.

All travel, accommodations, and dinners are the responsibility of the participant. Host hotel: Sheraton Galleria-Atlanta (participants will receive a discount link upon registration), Complimentary breakfast and wifi. Closest airport: ATL Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Upon registration, you’ll receive a link with a discount for our room block. Rooms are nice 1-bedroom suites. Hotel has a restaurant and bar, and a Cheesecake Factory is next door, just sayin.

Please bring:
• Eye and Ear Protection
• GLOCK Pistol (or you can reserve a loaner)
• Strong Side Holster with retention feature, Kydex preferred
• Belt
• 3 Mags and Pouches
• Notebook and Pen
• Water Bottle and/or Snacks
• Appropriate Attire (closed-toed shoes, conservative neckline, AG & AG apparel preferred)
• Hat

Typical Round Count is 500-1,000 rounds per participant, but you don’t have to bring ammo. Cases of 9mm for AG & AG are provided by GLOCK!

Cancellations and Refunds
Life happens and sometimes last-minute situations arise that can prevent you from attending. Unfortunately, we will be unable to provide refunds as time goes on and our vendors and service providers have been paid. Therefore, a $100 administrative fee will be charged for any cancellation. Within 45 days of the event, there will be no refunds for registration fees or event-related items if you discover that you are unable to attend. In some cases, registrations may be transferred to another participant and you may try to find someone who may want to pay you for your spot.
