The AG & AG Sniper School is your opportunity to combine science and art for long-distance target engagement!

Riflecraft

Marksmanship, scope manipulation, ballistics, range estimation, and ring steel targets at a mile and beyond -- out to 2,003 yards!

Fieldcraft

Work with the terrain and environment to advance on targets, determine angles, manage windage, calculate leads, and more!

About Sniper School

The A Girl & A Gun Sniper School is a Girls Getaway focusing on riflecraft and fieldcraft that gives members the opportunity to learn skills that are typically restricted to military and law enforcement, but in a fun, girl-friendly way. By understanding environmental factors and how bullet trajectories are affected by internal and external ballistics, you will be a more accurate shooter at all shooting disciplines. This event includes a combination of virtual learning and in-person exercises to get the most out of our time together. You will enjoy knowledgeable discussions, achieve zero, record DOPE, and quickly engage long-distance targets. This is not a bench-rest shooting class; this is a field conditions class and students must be prepared for moderate physical challenges.

The registration fee includes:

Instruction and Materials
Loaner Rifle & Scope, if needed
Range Fees
Catered Lunches
Swag & Gifts

Students are responsible for their own ammo (400rds), housing, and transportation. The closest airports are Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT) (15min from range), Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ), (1hr drive), Denver International Airport (DEN) (4hrs drive).

This is an event for members of AG & AG. If you’re not a member, you can join today!

The course is taught by instructors of Defenders USA. The lead instructor is Russell Anthon assisted by Hank Ownbey. Former sniper Myles Standish is an assistant instructor and SME for the course.
