GA Chapters receive NRA “Refuse To Be A Victim” instructor training

The three Georgia AG & AG chapters have been busy adding new skills to their resumes. On December 21, Donna Gibson, Liza Kirby, Sydni Lee (Cumming), Michelle Frank, Lana Jimenez (Covington) and Ginger Peacock (Marietta) attended an NRA “Refuse To  Be A Victim” instructor training seminar. The day started at 8:00 a.m. with NRA Training Counselor Jonathan Clapp introducing the concepts that are important to RTBAV. He then presented the whole course as it should be taught to prospective students. Then each instructor candidate presented a section of the seminar to be evaluated by Mr. Clapp. They are very happy to report that all Georgia chapter members that attended earned their instructor certification at this session.

They learned new skills and reinforced old ones and even though the topic was a serious one, they had a great time earning this certification together. The three chapters intend on collaborating to provide RTBAV to their area on a regular basis.
