
One Hand, Your Way: Making Shooting Work With the Body You Have
Maybe your hands do not work quite the way they used to. An injury or surgery may have left one wrist weaker than the other. Arthritis may have changed your grip. Neuropathy may have affected sensation. Or perhaps holding a handgun at full extension simply becomes tiring much faster than it once did. One-handed shooting can reveal these problems quickly. After all, the moment we remove one hand from the gun, we have also removed roughly half of our usual support, stability, and recoil management.
