New shooters can be frustrated when loading their pistol magazines. In this video Tatiana Whitlock offers some tips and techniques for how to easily insert ammo cartridges into a magazine.
“Always wear eye and ear protection.” “Eyes and ears!” We hear it. We abide by it. But have you ever really thought

If you aren’t putting on your belt and holster (if you have one) and dry firing, you aren’t building the neuropathways you will need when you need them the most — in situations under stress or duress. It also trains your eye where to look (hint: focus on the front sight), helps train you to get your sight picture quickly and helps encourage your body to pull the firearm up to your line of sight. Your grip and your stance will be put under stress and you will know very quickly when you draw and drive the firearm forward if you loosen anywhere. This helps you know where to tighten up.
Peeking at the target between shots delays your ability to quickly recover your sights and get your next shot on target. It also shifts your mental focus away from the task at hand (your fundamentals of grip, stance, trigger press, etc.) to the target, which can be assessed later.

A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League (AG & AG) proudly announces the winners of the 2018 4th Quarter League Match. It was an exciting match for the participants this quarter. This is especially true for three members from the Vista, CA chapter, facilitated by LeAnne Farmer. This chapter secured the top three spots in the Centerfire Irons division, only separated by 1.71 seconds: Vyrna Romek (25.19 secs.), Kathy Smith (25.30 secs.), Gina Roberts (26.90 secs.). Congratulations to all who participated.
A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League (AG & AG) is proud to launch the all-new 2019 Shooting Journal. Marksmen have long used shooting journals to analyze range performance and log their practice sessions. With this Shooting Journal, AG & AG offers a revolutionary program to help the female marksman organize her plans, goals, time, and training.
