The Bucket Brigade

This past week saw historic flooding in the southeast Texas area with Hurricane/Tropical Storm Harvey. The AG & AG sisterhood churned up more of a storm than Harvey – and in a good way. The AG & AG sisterhood was in full swing to help their sisters in harm’s way. Cindy Bowser, Facilitator of the Elizabethtown PA Chapter, initiated a “Bucket Brigade” to help those in need.

90 Days to a Bad-Ass Life

A Girl & A Gun (AG & AG) introduced a revolutionary program for women shooters that will change their lives. The Tactical Foo-Foo MasterMind Program is 90-day program that complements the AG & AG Shooting Journal with recurring webinars and activities to help women achieve their personal and shooting goals. Performance Coach Kelley Moore will give participants the secret weapons to mastering disruptions, hecklers, and hijackers in their lives.

Gun Shaming Is Damaging Our Industry

It is fine if you are a fan of a specific manufacture, and have a gun that you are loyal to and would rather cut off your trigger finger than ever be forced to shoot a different gun. But sometimes the gun is going to choose you and not the other way around. You are entitled to your opinion, but if it isn’t yours and you don’t have to shoot it, keep your gun-shaming comments to yourself.

AG & AG Releases 2017 Shooting Journal

While there is evidence that journaling has a positive impact on physical well-being, there are also practical applications for documenting shooting sessions. This journal thoughtfully combines ballistic data collection and professional training documentation with worksheets to log thoughts, emotions, and experiences as a woman’s empowerment and success from shooting translates into other areas of her life. The Journal refers to this hybrid experience as “Tactical Foo-Foo.” With a different monthly focus, the Shooting Journal provides dry-fire and live-fire drills along with guided discussions to inspire women to achieve shooting and personal goals.
