A Girl & Gun’s National Conference takes place April 28 – May 1, 2022
WEST BEND, WI (March 23, 2022) – As a leader in the firearms training and education industry, the U.S. Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) is proud to sponsor and provide training and education resources to over 500 women who are continuing their self-defense journey at the A Girl & A Gun’s (AG & AG) national conference.
The 2022 National Conference, AG & AG’s 10th National Conference Presented by GLOCK, comes as the country continues to see an increase in women’s firearm ownership, with over 33% of the 5.4 million new gun owners in 2021 being women. The rising crime rate across America is the primary contributing factor to this surge in gun ownership, with 88% of current gun owners now citing crime protection as their main reason for owning a gun.
Hosted at the Cameo Shooting and Education Complex in Palisade, Colorado, the four-day training event sees attendees maneuver through multiple training sessions taught by certified instructors, including the USCCA’s Defensive Shooting Fundamentals and AR-15 Curriculum for Self Defense. Through the AR-15 Curriculum for Self Defense class, attendees will access a sneak preview of the AR curriculum coming soon to the USCCA training offering.

Additionally, throughout 2022, the USCCA plans to hold multiple USCCA instructor-level courses, providing AG & AG instructors with the industry-leading curriculum and certification to present USCCA curriculum-based classes in their home communities.
