Pie Target

Description

Stop the calories! This unique Thanksgiving target gives you multiple shooting areas as you put rounds in different types of pies.

Suggested drills for this target:

Beginner: Work on groupings within the different pies.
Intermediate: Place 3-5 consecutive shots inside of each pie. Keep splits (time between each shot) consistent and focus on recoil management.
Advanced: Work target transitions by placing rounds in teach pie. Have a friend or leader call out a pie (for example, say “pecan!” or “apple!” to challenge your eye movement, threat ID, and accuracy.

Instructor points:

Smoothly press the trigger without disrupting the sights.
Target transitions vertically and horizontally help shooters move eyes, then muzzle.
Recoil management to quickly reacquire sights for follow-up shots.
