What makes Robyn’s voice especially powerful in political circles is her personal journey from once supporting gun control to becoming a staunch defender of the Second Amendment. On Capitol Hill, she boldly represents women who defend their freedoms, famously stating, “Moms who make demands to take our rights don’t speak for moms like me.”

Robyn is the mother of three children and two dogs that often appear in her social posts. Inspired by her daughter’s journey, Robyn is deeply passionate about raising awareness for pediatric brain cancer and providing self-defense training for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. She is developing a program that teaches nonvisual threat recognition and situational awareness skills, empowering blind individuals to identify potential dangers and enhance their personal safety.

Career Expertise

Prior to her leadership roles with A Girl & A Gun, Robyn had a successful career in content creation and multichannel marketing.

For 15 years, Robyn built a strong foundation in publishing, where she conceptualized, launched, and managed titles and digital libraries for the banking industry. She honed her skills in innovation and agility by leading the transition of legacy print content to online resources during the early days of the Internet. As regulatory information became more accessible, Robyn developed creative solutions tailored for attorneys and financial professionals.

A sales-driven marketing professional, she combined deep operational expertise across both B2C and B2B industries. Her unique skill sets span three core areas: content strategy (including project management and merchandising), technology implementation (covering IT infrastructure and numerous SaaS and CMS platforms), and design/UI to deliver compelling customer experiences.

Robyn holds a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science and Criminal Justice double major with a Pre-Law concentration) Magna Cum Laude from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas.
