Friendly and Certified Firearms Training for Women Since 2011

November 2023 Recap

November was jam-packed! Attendance was up 122% over last year – we trained over 5,000 women this month! A Girl & A Gun was 30% bigger in November 2023 with new chapters, new host ranges, new training programs — and we expressed gratitude and #gaveback to our communities. We saw a lot of training, coaching, and camaraderie across the nation. Here are our highlights for November 2023:

AG & AG Leaders Continue to Raise the Bar

In November we hosted the year’s second Girls Getaway with The Complete Combatant’s Lead Instructor, Brian Hill. The participants spent 3 challenging days earning the Certified Deliberate Coaching Instructor credential. Brian Hill shared over 40 years of coaching and instructor development with the attendees. His journey has given him a unique insight and experience over a broad range of training philosophies that he shared to help our chapters’ leaders become better communicators, better instructors, and better leaders on the range.

AG & AG Gives Back to Veterans at HAVA Event

AG & AG was the host of Bay 5 at the 16th Annual Honored American Veterans Afield (HAVA) National Family Day event held on November 5, 2023, at the at the San Antonio Police Academy in San Antonio, TX. November Fun at the Range!

Many of our holiday gatherings kicked off in November. As ladies traveled to visit family, many AG & AG members took time to visit chapters in other cities! We had so much fun watching the interaction. One member said, “Everyone was welcoming, none of the awkward getting to know each other. I received the same encouragement and I felt as welcome as I do walking into my own chapter.” #sisterhood
