July 2020 brought another influx of new members at A Girl & A Gun! We love our tribe! We spent a lot of time fielding requests from new members, new ranges, and a variety of media outlets. Here are our highlights for July:
Survey Results: AG & AG Delivers Crucial Pro-Gun Voters and Emerging Trends
A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League (AG & AG) provides a critical and rapidly growing demographic to the roster of pro-Second Amendment voters for the 2020 election cycle: Women. Through education, outreach, and inclusion, AG & AG brings new families into responsible firearms ownership. A survey of more than 6,000 members reveals advocacy involvement and emerging industry trends. Read more.
Virtual Girls Night Out
In July we announced a new virtual program for members to log in for firearms training straight from their homes! Attendees can expand their knowledge, hone their pistol skills, and get motivated and inspired. We will be working out of our popular Shooting Journal, so members can follow along. Each livestreamed event will address a new topic: 2x per month and 90 minutes of sisterhood and fun!
Quarterly Match Results Announced
In July we announced the winners of the 2020 2nd Quarter League Match, our quarterly competition for members. Shooters are able to experience a competitive atmosphere: understanding the course of fire, match commands, operation of the shot timer, and scoring. This national postal match allows new shooters to overcome mental barriers to participating in competitive shooting and gives experienced shooters the ability to test their skills in a casual, familiar environment.
In July we announced our new Leadership Summit program, which will provide Leadership Development, Instructor Training , and Business Strategies for our chapter Facilitators and their A-Teams. The Summits are scheduled to take place on a quarterly basis, beginning in September, through a virtual format combining on-demand videos and livestreamed sessions.
