Adam Winch is the owner and lead instructor of Defenders USA, where he brings his unique combination of military and police expertise into the classroom and on the range for an engaging, thought-provoking learning experience to build solid mental, emotional, and physical defensive skills into his students. He is a veteran MP in the U.S. Army Reserves, and Colorado National Guard, and worked as a police officer on patrol, the Street Crimes Unit, a trainer, and as a SWAT officer with the Grand Junction Police Department for over ten years. Adam is also a certified firearms instructor through multiple civilian instructor firearm certification schools. He facilitates the learning process with true-to-life stories, interaction, and hands-on training, all seasoned with a lot of humor.
