This month AG & AG Nation celebrated our 11th birthday! We hosted more training events and welcomed many new members. Here are the highlights for February 2022!

A Girl & A Gun Turns 11!
A Girl & A Gun celebrated its 11th anniversary on February 28, 2022! Since 2011, AG & AG has introduced thousands of women and families to the safe and proficient use and storage of firearms. Last year alone the league hosted more than 35,000 women at 3,000 training events! The club currently has more than 7,100 card-carrying members throughout all 50 states, as well as thousands of guests who attend training and competitive events.

10 More AG & AG Members Train at GLOCK
This month AG & AG Founder Julianna Crowder accompanied 10 AG & AG ladies to the GLOCK Professional facility. Participants took a one-day armorers class followed by two days of live-fire on the range with GLOCK instructors (and Team GLOCK captain Shane Coley, pictured here). This group of 10 brings the total to 99 certified GLOCK Armorers that have attended the AG & AG/GLOCK courses.

AG & AG Speaks from Steps of Arizona Capitol
On Feb. 19th, Executive Director Robyn Sandoval joined hundreds in Phoenix to celebrate the Second Amendment. She spoke to the crowd about the importance of training and advocacy. A Girl & A Gun members from the Prescott area staffed the booth and visited with men and women in the crowd.

Conference Catalog Published
In February, we published the CELEBRATE 2022 Conference Catalog for all registered participants. The Catalog lists the 61 top-tier instructors that will be teaching, courses available, agenda, gear requirements, optional activities, and training matrix for our 2022 National Conference Presented by GLOCK that will take place April 28-May 1 outside Grand Junction, CO. By the Numbers
- In Feb. 2022 A Girl & A Gun chapters hosted over 306 events with more than 1,812 participants (+38% since last Feb!).
- We mailed 497 new membership packets from HQ (+8% compared to last Feb.).
- We opened 4 new chapters in February: Licking County OH, Western Suburban IL, Bucks County PA, Lakewood CO.
- We hosted 4 virtual events with more than 2,597 (and climbing!) views.
- Our smartphone app downloads grew to 9,154 registrations (+44% since last Feb.).
Local Training and Media Highlights
Here are local news and media highlights for February 2022:

Members of both the Broward County & Treasure Coast FL chapters hosted a LadySeed Marksmanship Clinic with Project Appleseed.

Robyn Sandoval joined the Meet the Pressers podcast to discuss AG & AG’s commitment to support National Train A Teacher Day coming up on June 18th.

Broward County FL chapter held a Valentine’s Shoot with a co-ed competition. Jacqueline had a perfect score with all 10 shots in the 100 heart!

AG & AG Central CT member Mary Forgues shared her story in a viral video for the DC Project.

Oxford OH chapter hosted Louka Tactical for a training weekend.

Sherwood OR chapter re-launched with a successful Girls Night Out.

Treasure Coast FL chapter hosted a Valentine’s Shoot on heart targets.

Wyobraska NE chapter hosted a Speed Dating night with 10 different handguns to try. The Taurus TX22 was the ladies’ favorite.

Dayton OH chapter welcomed a new Facilitator, Alecia Roberson! Thank you to Beth Duckworth for her guidance and leadership over the past years.

Northern CO chapter had a “Shoot Your Heart Out” themed GNO and celebrated their 1-year anniversary!

Robyn Sandoval had a great time with Jon Anderson on Episode 94 of the Sandhills Media Get Off My Lawn podcast.

Lakeland FL chapter celebrated “Galentine’s Day” by bringing a gal pal non-member for some trigger time and fun!

Robyn Sandoval was a guest instructor on Episode 266 of the Self Defense Gun Stories podcast.

Central NJ chapter shot a steel challenge stage on the timer with prizes at one of their Feb. events.

Robyn Sandoval was a co-host on the Polite Society podcast presented by the Second Amendment Foundation.
