AG & AG National Conference is the highlight of our year, as we gather with nearly 600 of our sisters, mentors, and friends. Unfortunately, yesterday the State of Colorado issued a letter restricting events in the state, so we are required to transform ELEVATE 2020.
We are heartbroken that we have been forced into this position, as we have adapted Conference logistics every step of the way to comply with CDC recommendations. We fought hard to fit within all guidelines, while keeping the safety and health of our community as the ultimate priority.
Now we are committed to bringing ELEVATE 2020 to you in a digital format. Our staff and guest instructors remain on board to providing you a valuable Conference experience — with online learning, camaraderie, and lots of giveaways! You will have the opportunity to learn from all of the instructors, not just ones on your schedule. For those who registered, Leadership and Early Bird Lecture Day will take place virtually as well. All participants will receive your swag bags in the mail before we gather online on a new social platform that is being created.
What is the next step? The good news is that we are more than 30 days in advance of the event, so your hotels and travel arrangements can be changed. AG & AG as an organization has incurred many pre-event expenditures for Conference that are not recoverable. Please allow us a little grace time to initiate a clear strategy that meet the needs of Conference participants and the organization. We know you have questions and we will address them over the next few days.
At A Girl & A Gun, everything we do is with a heartfelt commitment to providing you the best training events and experiences. It’s our honor and privilege to serve you, particularly during challenging times, and we thank you for being at the heart of what we do.
We appreciate your understanding. The letter from Colorado Parks & Wildlife is included, below.

The pandemic has changed many things for all of us. I was so looking forward to being there this year. As many have said, health and safety come first. I sure hope this doesn’t discourage the organization from coming to Colorado in 2021!
