If you ask 10 different instructors about the use of a diagnostic target, you’ll get 10 different answers. Getting help from a professional instructor is the best way to improve your shooting techniques. With that being said, a diagnostic target can be a useful tool for new shooters who are trying to learn the foundations. If your grouping is located in one of these areas, you can adjust your grip accordingly. Take note that the areas are different for right-handed and left-handed shooters, so make sure that you download the right target for you.

I have used this target to help figure out what I was doing wrong and it is great. I shared it with my husband and he has used it too. It is a very effective tool. Thank you for providing such useful tools to the membership.
I am still new to shooting- I just started shooting Sept 2016 and I appreciate all and any assistance I can get to improve my shooting skills. I go tot the range 2-3 times a week if I can. I want to be safe and effective with my firearms.
