We Made A Difference!

The motto of A Girl & A Gun is ‘It’s More Than Shooting.’  It’s not a catchy tagline or marketing slogan; it’s a way of life for our organization. A Girl & A Gun gave back to several meaningful individuals and organizations in 2023:

  • Back the Women in Blue. We hosted a 3-day training course, with all expenses paid, for 19 female law enforcement officers from 9 different states.
  • Charitable Giving. Many of our chapters gathered donations for women’s shelters and other worthy charities. As a national organization, we donated to the Cooper Trooper Foundation and several fundraising campaigns.
  • Volunteer Hours. We donated our time at events such as Honored American Veterans Afield Family Day, National Train a Teacher Day, Wreaths Across America, and countless other endeavors.

5th Annual Upland Adventure Welcomes 17 Hunters

In December, A Girl & A Gun members and their guests traveled to Upland Inn in Greensburg, KS, for the 5th annual AG & AG pheasant hunt. The group comprised first-time hunters as well as some seasoned veterans. Andrea Reed from Austin, TX, said, “What a special gift we have in our sisterhood! The skill of the hunters combined with the drive of the bird dogs elevated the whole experience. Having the shotguns from CZ-USA fitted and provided for my hunt was over the top! I’m hooked!” Learn more at AGirlandAGun.org/upland.
