In February the Cypress Chapter stepped up to the plate with a fundraiser shoot at events at their four ranges.
They raised $260 for Operation Homefront with their amazing ladies contributing $10 in exchange for a short competition-style shoot with all the standard commands (Shooter, do you understand the course of fire, nod when ready, standby) and the pressure of the audible start buzzer signifying their time to start. Shooters were scored based on time and accuracy with the winner getting dinner/lunch free from their facilitator.
Facilitator Tammy Hunter says, “I’m very proud of those who stepped out of their comfort zones for this match as well as generously donated to such a worthy cause. We love supporting Operation Homefront for all the amazing things they do to support our military personnel and their families in the times of need.”
