The AG & AG National Conference is the nation’s most notorious firearms event for women. AG & AG members from all corners of the country gather in one place to train with best instructors. You can enjoy modular training of a variety of disciplines over several days. In other words, you can jump into a new sport, topic, or platform while you have the best instructors and loaner gear to see what you can learn! For new shooters, you’ll gain confidence and skills. For experienced shooters, you’ll be coached to the next level!

Although there are some pre-Conference activities (Leadership Day and Early Bird Lecture Day), Conference officially starts on Thursday. Meet our sponsors, shoot the demo guns, shop the vendors, go through Gear Check, and then meet at 5pm MT for the official Welcome! Training Days are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, each starting with a Safety Brief. Don’t miss the Safety Briefs — if your name is drawn from the red bag, you must be present to win! You will enjoy six 3.5-hour training blocks over three days with world-class instructors.

This event is for A Girl & A Gun members. It is a women’s event open to individuals whose sex was assigned female at birth. Participants must be able to legally possess and safely handle a firearm, subject to age requirements and the policies of the organization and venue, and must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.

Unlike ballroom or amphitheater-style events, the National Conference is built around immersive, hands-on training. Live-fire classes are intentionally capped at 5 to 16 students, depending on the skill set being taught, and each firing line is staffed with multiple instructors and Range Safety Officers to maintain strict supervision and safety standards.

The conference operates across 30-35 live-fire training areas, along with an additional 30-35 field classrooms dedicated to dry-fire practice, workshops, lectures, hands-on discussions, and specialty training sessions. Every class is intentionally limited in size to preserve an optimal instructor-to-student ratio and deliver the highest-quality learning experience possible.

The $650 registration fee gives each attendee three full days of training comprising six sessions, swag bag full of goodies, chance to win in the daily gun giveaway drawings, the option for complimentary and convenient lunches on training days, an exclusive event t-shirt, the opportunity to shoot demos with sponsor-provided ammo, camaraderie, fun, and friendship to last a lifetime!

Additional training add-on opportunities, such as Early Bird Lecture Day or Leadership Day are additional fees. Transportation, lodging, ammo, most meals, and bonus activities (such as Heligunner) are the responsibility of the participant. 

This event is priced in line with standard industry training courses. It is not structured or marketed as a high-end, all-inclusive retreat, and the expectations should reflect that professional training model.  

In February, registered participants receive the official Conference Catalog that lists all of the instructors, course descriptions, bonus activities, social gatherings, round counts, gear requirements, maps, agendas, and more! In March, participants have assigned times to receive invitations to create their schedules. Classes fill on a first-come, first-served basis, but all of the classes are amazing! Often someone’s least desired class ends up being her favorite of the weekend!

First, as a thank-you gift, the previous year’s attendees get to register first for the next year’s Conference. Second, the practical matter is that they have taken six or more sessions from the instructor cadre already and so they will get the opportunity to build a schedule that includes new-to-them instructors. Third, roughly half of the attendees return from the previous year, so this format still allows us plenty of room to grow the league, invite new shooters, and provide a new and exciting experience to every participant.

No, we have had attendees who have had a recent surgery and need to take it easy as well as pregnant and nursing mothers who want to avoid lead exposure. Many women opt for dry-fire clinics and lectures the entire weekend. They learn so much and are always glad they came!

Yes! You will receive emails with tips, checklists, videos, and information to make sure you have the right equipment, knowledge, mindset, and attitude to have an incredible time at Conference! You may worry that you’ll be wandering around lost, but you’ll have a game plan, and friends who will guide you where you need to be.

When you create your schedule in March, you will know which classes you will be taking so that you can bring the appropriate firearm for them. Some classes are competition focused and some are concealed carry, and some may include shotguns or rifles. The firearms you bring must be in compliant with all Colorado Gun Laws. NOTE: The SIG Sauer P320 in all its variants is prohibited (A Girl & A Gun Statement on the P320).

We have several room blocks at area hotels, but we don’t publish them for security reasons. Participants will receive that information after registration.

After you make your training schedule in March, you’ll know exactly how much ammo (and what calibers) to bring. For your convenience, you can also pre-purchase ammo in advance and pick it up at Check In.

We understand that life happens, and sometimes unexpected situations can prevent you from attending. As the event approaches, many costs are already committed to our vendors and service providers, so we are limited in our ability to offer refunds. Therefore, a $100 administrative fee will be charged for any cancellation through Dec 31st. After Jan 1st, a 50% refund will be issued. A $20 nonrefundable administrative fee will be charged for any cancellation of EBLD or LD. Beginning March 1st, registration fees and event-related purchases are non-refundable. No transfers. To ensure a positive and safe experience for everyone, participants must demonstrate the necessary skills and maintain safe, respectful behavior throughout the event. If a participant is unable to meet these standards, they may be removed from the event without a refund.
