I have been a member of AGAG since 2014. I used to be terrified of guns and shooting. It’s not an exaggeration to say that AGAG completely changed my life, helping me find my inner strength and confidence. I went from “I’ll never shoot” to competing in IDPA, ASI, Bullseye, and 3Gun. Shooting is just plain fun but knowing that you can protect yourself is massively empowering. Knowing how far I have come I love to help other women see how much their lives can change as well.
We meet the 1st Tuesday evening of the month at 6:30pm, and the 3rd Sunday of the month at 2pm.
My certifications include NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, NRA Personal Protection in the Home Instructor, NRA Range Safety Officer, NRA Chief Range Safety Officer. While I don’t offer classes (I do provide coaching on the line at my AGAG events) I enjoy helping women connect with instructors and classes, so please just ask me.
Trainings I have taken include:
– MAG 40 (Massad Ayoob Group)
– Concealed Carry 101
– Defensive Shotgun
– Speed Handgun
– Handgun Accuracy
– Defensive Handgun
– Treatment of Traumatic Injuries
– Stop the Bleed
– Purse/Bag Off-Body Conceal Carry Course
– Mini Baton/Pepper Spray
– QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training
– And many AGAG trainings provided at the annual conferences.
I was also the President of Centralia Rifle Club and Junior Division in Centralia, WA for two years – the first female president since it began in 1928!
