Stacy DeBord is the facilitator of the Northeast TN chapter of A Girl and a Gun. She is passionate about shooting sports and expanding female participation. She believes that education is the best resource to allow women to overcome their fear, gain self-confidence, and take agency over their own personal safety.
A wife and working mother of one daughter (as well as several four-pawed babies), Stacy is a financial analyst and a CPA. Her interests include shooting, travel, reading, preparedness, and practicing Kung Fu, where she was recently awarded her brown belt.
She started her journey in the shooting sports many years ago in the backyard with her dad, a Marine 1stSgt, who taught her how to shoot a rifle. Over the years, she has taken numerous self-defense classes, both with and without firearms. Currently, Stacy holds the following designations:
• Concealed carry permit holder in TN
• NRA Certified Pistol Instructor
• NRA Range Safety Officer
Stacy is the owner of Shoot to Thrill Training & Instruction.
