Greetings! I’m Alecia (pronounced uh-lee-shuh), though most people call me Lisa.
I believe empowerment begins long before danger appears—and that confidence grows when women are given the tools, knowledge, and support to take ownership of their personal safety with clarity and intention.
My work is rooted in safety, confidence, and community. Yes, we train with firearms. But real self-defense is bigger than marksmanship alone. It’s about mindset, situational awareness, sound decision-making, and the ability to stay steady under pressure. Every chapter event is designed to build skills with purpose—not rush people through reps.
My instruction blends structured skill-building with nervous-system-aware pacing, so learning feels challenging but never overwhelming. We respect where each woman is, we normalize questions, and we focus on progress—not perfection. This approach helps skills stick and confidence grow naturally.
As an instructor, I emphasize responsibility from start to finish. That includes safe gun handling, clear judgment, and preparedness beyond the trigger. As a Stop the Bleed–certified instructor and licensee, I also reinforce that personal protection means knowing how to respond if someone is hurt—because being prepared includes knowing how to save a life.
I hold multiple certifications across firearms instruction, range safety, first aid, and personal protection, and I continue to train so I can serve women with competence and care. I’m also a certified women’s empowerment coach, a trauma-informed somatic practitioner, and an anti–human trafficking consultant. Those lenses shape how I teach, how I pace learning, and how I hold space—especially for women who are rebuilding confidence.
This chapter exists to offer more than range time. It’s a place for intentional training, supportive leadership, and a community of women who take responsibility seriously—and themselves just lightly enough to enjoy the process.
Alecia holds certifications including NRA Pistol Instructor, USCCA Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals Instructor, USCCA Range Safety Officer, Emergency First Aid Fundamentals, Stop the Bleed Instructor & Licensee, Women’s Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals, Countering the Mass Shooter Threat, Children’s Firearms & Safety Fundamentals, and Marksmanship Simplified: Foundations of Handgun Coaching, along with credentials in women’s empowerment coaching, trauma-informed somatic practice, and anti–human trafficking advocacy.
