Julie Puls lives in Naperville, Illinois and is the mother of 3 adult children. She is committed to educating women in the importance of self-defense/situational awareness and empowering them in all aspects of life. She believes that every woman has the right to defend herself, regardless of her race, demographic, ethnic & cultural background or political affiliation.
Julie is a firearms instructor, trainer and facilitator for the Naperville Chapter. She is a NRA Certified Pistol and Rifle Instructor, a NRA Certified Range Safety Officer, a USCCA Certified Instructor and Training Counselor, an NRA Refuse to be a Victim Instructor, and an Illinois Concealed Carry Instructor. Julie is also a Martial Artist/self-defense instructor with black belts in various styles/disciplines, a Krav Maga Defensive Tactics Instructor, and a boxing/kickboxing coach. Julie also competes competitively through the IDPA, USPSA and 3-Gun.
