Hi ladies – my name is Pat Klishevich, your facilitator for the New Castle County chapter in Delaware!!…
we are the first A Girl & A Gun chapter in the “small wonder” state of Delaware where the motto is “Liberty and Independence” …
Welcome!!
my journey into firearms started in 2008 when I joined the fj bruisers, a truck club that on occasion would have events that required the use of a firearms for target shooting…I learned to shoot a little from some law enforcement officers that were apart of the club…..right prior to Covid I started taking some actual instruction…I found out about the organization A Girl & A Gun and joined…they were very instrumental in giving me the kick start I needed….that’s when I discovered how much I loved shooting and realized how important it was to be able to defend myself and my family…I wanted to learn firearms safety as well…I went from target shooting at the range to matches and that’s when I realized I loved coaching women…after more training I finally decided to take some instructor courses….
We meet every 4th saturday at the Delaware State Pistol Club from 2:00PM-4:30PM
We have a clinic from 2-3pm (each month is a different topic) followed by a social shoot until 430pm..we work on the Pistol Marksmanship Program, skills and drills, shoot the quarterly match and coaching…
If your new to firearms or a seasoned shooter…this is a place to enjoy the great camaraderie between women with like-minded ideals….women teaching women, women supporting women, women who shoot
A Girl & A Gun is a great organization that supports all aspects providing help, encouragement and assistance in every possible way…
