I have been shooting for about 35 years. I love all kinds of firearms, and teaching firearm safety. I have a nice collection of “little black guns” (as my husband says!), shotguns, and rifles. My goal in life is to train as many women (and kids, and anybody wanting to learn) as possible to be comfortable and safe with firearms. I have a great passion for this sport, and for sharing my love of shooting with others. A Girl & A Gun has literally changed my life and is a wonderful organization to bring women into the shooting sports and our sisterhood. I am a member of multiple gun clubs to include Triple J Armory and Centennial Gun Club, and love assisting them in moving their Ladies programs forward. I am a certified NRA Pistol instructor, USCCA Instructor, Refuse to Be A Victim Instructor, Range Safety Officer, and love shooting USPSA competitively. I have recently taken up hunting. I am married, have two grown children, and 6 grandchildren! I work full time for a major health care company and am the Colorado State Director for The DC Project- Women for Gun Rights.
