Facilitator: Cindy Greer Welcome to the Big Horn Basin Chapter. I have always been around firearms, but didn’t start shooting myself until I was in my 50’s. My daughter started shooting and invited me to go to training with her. It was so much fun that I began doing training on my own. When I first joined AG&AG there wasn’t an active chapter near me so after attending the virtual National Conference in 2020, I decided to become a facilitator and help other women like myself who are searching for a range buddy. I am a certified NRA Pistol Instructor and Range Safety Officer. In 2021 I found the shotgun clay sports and found my passion for shooting. We shoot trap once a week from April to September and offer handgun classes once a month. I worked as a Certified Professional Landman with Marathon Oil for 35 years and am now retired. I am married with 2 adult children and 11 grandchildren. I have a membership at Front Sight Firearms Training Institute and the Cody Shooting Complex. I want to offer women a safe and fun environment to not only learn about the shooting sports, but to meet other women and to share our common and different interests with one another. In addition, I to want encourage and support women in the shooting sports competitions. It’s more than Shooting! |
