Being born and raised in Texas it seems no surprise that I enjoy almost everything outdoors. I had a passion for shooting archery competitively and bowhunting that transitioned to firearms. I have been blessed with the abilities to be able to compete in the local club area all the way to the national platforms in both.

Firearms skills are perishable skills that require training and practice. I am a believer that first comes accuracy then comes speed. Training and practice of basic fundamentals are the foundations needed to advance to the next level of any pursuit.

This is the basic idea I have for The Woodlands Chapter of A Girl & A Gun. To provide the basics and fundamentals for shooting so that our members can take those skills and move to whatever the next level is in their shooting.
