Facilitator: Liz Raddatz I am a US Navy veteran having served almost 10 years. I took a concealed carry class in Virginia in 2016. I didn’t start actively carrying or shooting until 2017. I enjoyed it and found a women's shooting group in VA and went to the range weekly with them. In 2020 I got certified as a NRA Range Safety officer and pistol instructor. My husband and I moved to Kentucky May 2021 and are now semi-retired. I work at a gun store/range part time where I and the RSO and I teach Ladies CCDW classes. I love teaching (men and ladies) and introducing new shooters to the sport. It’s great to have someone that has never shot before, coming in nervous and leaving with a respect for firearms and a smile on their face for having accomplished something new and enjoying it! |
