Ashley Krenek Wins 1st Place Overall in the 4Q 2023 AG & AG Quarterly Match

AUSTIN, TX — A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League (AG & AG) proudly announces the winners of the 2023 4th Quarter League Match. A total of 131 members from 35 chapters across the United States submitted scores. Congratulations to Ashley Krenek, from the South Houston, TX chapter, for earning 1st Place Overall.

The match division incorporates the AG & AG skill level color tracks, so that participants compete with others of the same skill level and firearm type/sights.

The goal of the Quarterly Match is to keep focus on bringing new shooters into the match, providing them incentive to improve and help them grow in their personal shooting journey. A new division, Not For Prizes (NFP), was also created for those members looking to try their hand at the match strings. The NFP division winner is recognized in the match statistics but does not receive a portion of the prize pot. Members can shoot in the NFP division two times before they must declare a division and purchase a match fee.

Experienced competition shooters are always welcome to participate and help those new to competition understand the course of fire, match commands, shot timer, scoring and explore matches outside of the chapter. Winners of the match receive cash prizes based on the number of participants, and of course, bragging rights among the chapters.

One Response

  1. I was surprised to see that I took first place in the 4th Quarterly match BCI division and was also the Chapter winner. It is an honor to represent the Douglas County Nevada Chapter. It goes without saying that much of the credit is due to our Chapters wonderful leadership headed by our facilitator Tammy Uva. She has not only been a true leader but her attention to everyone’s needs for personal growth are exceptional. The ladies involved with our chapter are wonderful! The camaraderie, and encouragement for everyone’s growth is amazing. We have become an incredible chapter family! I absolutely love being a part of the AG and AG team! Thank you!
