A Girl & A Gun Celebrates National Shooting Sports Month

AUSTIN TX (AGirlandAGun.org) — A Girl & A Gun (AG & AG) chapters throughout the country are hosting events to celebrate National Shooting Sports Month throughout the month of August. An initiative of the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), National Shooting Sports Month is a time to celebrate recreational shooting sports and encourage others to go to join us at the shooting range!

AG & AG chapters are sharing the #LetsGoShooting hashtag across social media with photos of the ladies at the range in their National Shooting Sports Month hats and t-shirts, courtesy of NSSF. Now more than ever before, people all over the United States — more than 50 million in fact — participate in some form of target shooting each year. The mission is to encourage families and friends to enjoy time shooting together.

“National Shooting Sports Month is a fun way for AG & AG chapters to participate in a national campaign to welcome new shooters to the range and encourage families to shoot together,” said AG & AG Executive Director, Robyn Sandoval.
