3rd Annual AG & AG Clays Extravaganza Draws Women from 16 States

AUSTIN, TX (AGirlandAGun.org) — Smiles abounded as 62 competitors participated in the 3rd Annual Women’s Clays Extravaganza Presented by Magpul and Miller Shooting Sports and hosted by A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League (AG & AG). The NSCA-registered shoot included Trap, 5 Stand, and two different sporting courses. It took place August 25 – 27, 2022, at Powder Creek Shooting Park in Lenexa, KS.

CZ-USA Pro Staff hosted half-day clinics on the two days prior to the shoot. “One of my favorite things about AG & AG is the organization’s focus on education,” says Dave Miller, Shotgun Product Manager for CZ-USA. “Unlike so many misguided programs, AG & AG provides opportunities for its members to learn and grow in the shooting sports.” He even agreed to be in a dunk tank for the day, while ladies broke “true pairs” for the privilege of dunking him (and signing their names and scores to the event banner)!

Ranging from brand-new to sporting clays to Master-level shooters, the competitors varied in skills and experience. There were three Junior shooters in attendance. In addition, many shooters were pushed outside their comfort zones to try new shotgun sports that they had not competed in before.

Trophies were awarded to the HOA Winner, Runner-Up Winner, and NSCA Class Winner. Certificates were awarded for Blue Course Winner, Red Course Winner, 5 Stand Winner, and Trap Winner. The Top 10 Overall Finishers included:
