2Q2021 Match Winners Announced

AUSTIN, TX — A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League (AG & AG) proudly announces the winners of the 2021 2nd Quarter League Match. There were a record number of members participating this quarter (187) from a record number of chapters (38)!

The Quarterly Match is a nationwide competition among members of AG & AG. Facilitated during a regularly scheduled event, such as a Girl’s Night Out, shooters are able to experience a competitive atmosphere: understanding the course of fire, match commands, operation of the shot timer, and scoring. The match allows new shooters to overcome mental barriers to participating in competitive shooting and gives experienced shooters the ability to test their skills in a casual, familiar environment.

The goal of the Quarterly Match is to keep focus on bringing new shooters into the match and providing them incentive to improve while maintaining interest for experienced shooters to participate. The introduction of performance level prizes (Star Levels) provides members the opportunity to set S.M.A.R.T. (Specific-Measurable-Achievable-Realistic-Timely) goals which will help them grow in their personal shooting journey.

Each string required one magazine with 6 rounds each (18 rounds total) and used AG & AG’s match target #1. This was a Limited Vickers match with no more than 6 rounds per string.
