2015 Benelli Shotgun Championship

AUSTIN, TX – A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League (AG & AG) will host four all-ladies squads at the Benelli Tactical Shotgun Championship from August 6-8, 2015, at Rockcastle Shooting Center.

The 4 squads will comprise AG & AG 32 members from throughout the country along with 4 squad coaches, who are professional shooters sponsored by Benelli. Prior to the event, the ladies will have the opportunity to attend an exclusive shotgun clinic with Ryan and Dianna Liedorff Muller.

Special pricing has been established for AG & AG competitors. This all-inclusive experience includes:

Clinic & Cave Shooting (includes range fee, instructional time, supplies, and cave shooting tour) $100
Hotel, Meal Plan, Taxes, Gratuity (discounted room/meal rates, double occupancy for team) $300
Match Entry Fee (special discount, regular match fee is $150) $100
Professional Shooter as coach during match PRICELESS
$500 total

If you want to shoot the match, but are not one of the 32 selected you can register for the match, but AG & AG discounts may not apply.
If you are bringing a guest, then you should make your own hotel room and food service reservations. Pricing has been negotiated for official squad members.
Ammunition is not included, but stay tuned for ammo buy packages.
Loaner guns and equipment will not be available. Each participant must arrive with her own shotgun and gear.

Park Mammoth Resort is a historic property that includes a restaurant, winery and wine tasting room, 100 guest room lodge, shooting sports, 18 holes of regulation golf, and conference center located in the heart of the scenic Caves, Lakes and Corvettes region of south-central Kentucky. It is the nation’s only 2nd Amendment community.

Rockcastle Shooting Center comprises approximately 2,000 acres of the Park Mammoth property. The Shooting Center offers a sporting clay course, rifle ranges, multiple pistol ranges, archery course, a permanent cowboy action shooting town, and more. The facility is host to a variety of local, regional, national, and international shooting competitions.

Optional Activities:
Horseback Riding: $14.00 for 1/2 hour; $18.00 for 1 hour; $34.00 for 2 hours
Ziplining: $55 per person

During the match, participants can expect one stage to be a minimum of 50 rounds, while all other stages will be in compliance with the 2015 IPSC shotgun rules. There will be 14 stages, approximately ~270 rounds (bird, buck, and slugs). In addition, there will be 1 Simply Perfect 50+ round stage.

The courses will include:
4 Short Courses – Must not require more than 8 rounds to complete and are restricted to a max of 12 scoring hits.
4 Medium Courses – Must not require more than 16 rounds to complete and are restricted to a max of 24 scoring hits.
5 Long Courses – Must not require more than 28 rounds to complete and are restricted to a max of 32 scoring hits.

Open, Standard, Standard Manual, and “Outlaw” divisions will be recognized. Outlaw will follow generally accepted 3-Gun rules for Tac-Ops, therefore allowing chest rigs and other non-IPSC compliant gear. Equipment checks will be conducted at check-in in a manner similar to what will occur at WorldShoot.

Organizers expect about 200 competitors and 30 staff members to participate in the match.

Refund Policy

We understand that life happens and sometimes you have to cancel after purchase. Unfortunately there are costs at HQ for processing registrations and deposits, so we have to cover those costs. Therefore, our refund structure is as follows:
Before June 30th: 50% refund ($250.00)
After July 1st: 25% refund ($125.00)
After August 1st: No refund ($0)

A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League (AG & AG) is a club by women shooters for women shooters. The league breaks barriers for women and girls in pistol, rifle, and shotgun sports by welcoming beginners to learn the basics of safe and accurate shooting and providing experienced shooters with advanced-level opportunities.   1. When is the deadline for the meal/accommodations package? I will be attending, but am limited on funds currently, as I attending the AG conference and will be attending the 3GU in May. Please let me know when I have to pay to get the package deal. Thank you!
